The ISPR detailed the fallen heroes as comprising six army personnel and five air force officials. The army martyrs include Naik Abdul Rehman, Naik Waqar Khalid, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Ikramullah, Sepoy Adeel Akbar, and Sepoy Nisar. From the Air Force, Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf, Chief Technician Aurangzeb, Senior Technician Najeeb, Senior Technician Mubashir, and Corporal Technician Farooq were named among those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

In a tragic extension of the conflict, 40 civilians, including seven women and 15 children, lost their lives due to Indian shelling across the Line of Control (LoC), while 121 others were injured—among them 27 children and 10 women.

“The martyrs are the pride of the nation. Their sacrifice will always be remembered. We pray for the swift recovery of all injured,” said an ISPR spokesperson. “There should be no ambiguity about Pakistan’s determination in the face of aggression.”
