Annual Matriculation Examinations Commence in Punjab

The annual matriculation examinations in Punjab commenced on Friday, with a staggering 269,428,1 candidates participating. The exams are being held at 4088 examination centers across the province, including 14 centers established in different jails. The examination period will continue with various subjects, ultimately concluding on March 18 for 10th-grade students and March 19 for 9th-grade students. The morning session exams start at 8:30 am, the afternoon session at 1:30 pm, and on Fridays, the afternoon exams will commence at 2:30 pm.

The 10th-grade exams have begun with the History of Pakistan paper, followed by Punjabi on March 2, English Compulsory on March 4, and Arabic on March 5. For 9th-grade students, the exams will begin on March 19, including the English paper exam on March 20, Arabic on March 21, and Pakistan Studies on April 4.

This year’s matriculation exams are being conducted in two shifts, with the timetable available for students and educational institutions to plan accordingly. The education boards across Punjab are gearing up for the successful execution of the matric exams, ensuring a fair and transparent examination process.
