Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched the second phase of the CM Punjab Agriculture Internship Program 2025, offering a great opportunity for young agriculture graduates. This initiative allows students to earn while they learn, gaining real field experience while helping to modernize Punjab’s farming system.
The program aims to build a skilled and self-reliant youth workforce that can play an active role in improving Pakistan’s agricultural sector. It focuses on modern farming methods, smart techniques, and advanced technology to make agriculture more productive and sustainable. Through this internship, young graduates will not only strengthen their technical knowledge but also understand the challenges faced by farmers on the ground.
Maryam Nawaz’s vision for Punjab is to create a “Golden Yielding Punjab”. A province where technology, research, and innovation drive the agricultural system. She believes that the youth can bring fresh ideas and energy to transform traditional farming into a more efficient and profitable profession. Each intern will receive Rs 60,000 per month, making it a rewarding opportunity to learn and earn at the same time.
This program is part of a larger development plan that includes several other initiatives like the Green Tractor Scheme and the Electric Tram Project. Together, these projects show the government’s strong commitment to a smarter, greener, and more sustainable Punjab. By empowering the youth and supporting farmers with modern solutions, the province is moving toward a future where innovation and agriculture go hand in hand.
