Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the country’s Foreign Minister has expressed his concerns over the constitutional crisis in the country and the possible imposition of dictatorship in the judiciary. Speaking at an event in Larkana, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari highlighted the importance of democracy and urged for a larger bench to resolve the ongoing crisis.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized that the fight for “Takht-e-Lahore,” a reference to the current political situation in the country, could lead to disastrous consequences. He warned that the constitutional crisis was putting the country on a dangerous path and could lead to a dangerous experiment.

The PPP chief demanded the constitution of a larger bench to end the constitutional crisis, stating that the party was fully prepared for the polls and that Pakistan was ready to accept the larger bench’s decision. He also criticized the one-man show going on in Pakistan’s judiciary and stressed that dictatorship on democracy and judiciary was unacceptable.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari cited the example of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf, who violated the constitution, and the Supreme Court’s role in legalizing his move and allowing him to amend the constitution. He expressed disappointment that justice was not served to Asif Ali Zardari, who spent 11 years in jail without committing any crime, and no one had sought pardon for the injustice yet.

The PPP leader also criticized former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, who had run the election campaign of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that it was part of the Supreme Court’s history that a chief justice collects dam funds and offers dissolution of cases if someone submits the money to the dam fund.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also stressed the importance of fair and free elections in the country and vowed not to allow anyone to commit vote rigging in the polls.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s remarks on the current constitutional crisis in Pakistan and his demand for a larger bench to resolve the issue are significant. It is essential to uphold democracy and the rule of law in the country and avoid the imposition of dictatorship in any form, including the judiciary. All stakeholders should work towards a peaceful resolution of the crisis and ensure that the upcoming elections are free and fair.

Overall, the article highlights Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s views on the constitutional crisis in Pakistan and his call for a larger bench to resolve the issue. The article also stresses the importance of democracy, the rule of law, and free and fair elections in the country.
