In a remarkable demonstration of international solidarity and humanitarian efforts, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has dispatched its third batch of relief aid to Gaza, totaling 20 tons of essential medicines and food. This initiative aims to provide critical relief to the displaced and affected Gazan families amidst the ongoing conflict since October 6, 2023, which has triggered a dire humanitarian situation for over 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza. The Alkhidmat Foundation remains committed to alleviating the suffering of those affected by the conflict and crisis.

The third shipment was sent from Nur Khan Air Base Rawalpindi, where dignitaries including caretaker Federal Foreign Minister Mr. Jalil Abbas Jilani, Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan Mr. Ahmad Rabiei, Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lt. Gen. Inam Haider Malik, Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Air Marshal (R) Farooq Habib, Secretary-General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafari, National Director of Aghosh Homes Air Marshal (Rtd) Arshad Malik, and Sr. Manager Mr. Shoaib Hashmi were also present on the occasion. The dispatch ceremony was a collaborative effort involving officials from the Alkhidmat Foundation, the NDMA, and the Pakistan Air Force.

The goods, comprising 13 tons of medicines and 7 tons of food, were specially loaded onto a Pakistan Air Force aircraft bound for Jordan. The Pakistani ambassador stationed in Jordan will oversee the receipt of the aid, after which it will be delivered to the Gaza victims. To date, the Alkhidmat Foundation, under the leadership of Secretary-General Syed Waqas Jafari, has sent a total of 57 tons of relief goods in three phases, including medicines, food, and hygiene kits, to the victims in Gaza.

These efforts have been made possible through the cooperation of international aid organizations, relief activities from the camp office in Egypt, and ongoing support from philanthropists, the NDMA, the Pakistan Army, and the Air Force. Expressing his gratitude, Syed Waqas Jafari acknowledged the collective effort of various stakeholders, emphasizing the crucial role played by philanthropists, the NDMA, the Pakistan Army, and the Air Force in providing aid and assistance to the victims of Gaza. The Alkhidmat Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to alleviating the suffering of those affected by conflict and crisis, embodying the spirit of global humanitarianism, Syed Waqas Jafri concluded.
