Lahore:  Chuhng police have arrested two key suspects involved in the firing incident at the residence of renowned YouTuber Rajab Butt, officials confirmed Tuesday.

The arrested suspects, identified as Kashif Chohan and Farrukh, have been handed over to the Crime Control Department (CCD) for further investigation. During initial interrogation, the suspects confessed that they opened fire at Rajab Butt’s house on the instructions of an individual known as Shani Tiger.

According to police sources, Shani Tiger was allegedly acting on directives from Shehzad Bhatti, with whom Rajab Butt had a heated online feud. The incident appears to be an escalation of that digital conflict.

Authorities also revealed that two other individuals, Usman and Luqman, were spotted in a vehicle accompanying the gunmen, who were on motorcycles during the attack.

The arrests were made during targeted raids in Valencia and surrounding areas of Lahore.

Police Investigation Underway

Law enforcement agencies are currently expanding the investigation to trace all individuals linked to the planning and execution of the attack. A senior police official confirmed that further arrests are expected as digital and forensic evidence is being reviewed.

“We’re treating this as a serious case involving planned violence. All those involved, regardless of status or affiliation, will be brought to justice,” the official added.
