Salman Khan’s much anticipated action thriller Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, is off to a promising start at the box office. With just two days left before its grand Eid-ul-Fitr release, the film has already sold over 65,000 tickets across India’s top three multiplex chains—PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.

Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar, Sikandar has generated significant buzz among audiences. The film’s advance sales indicate a solid opening, but it will need to maintain momentum to reach Salman Khan’s typical box office standards.

Based on current booking trends, Sikandar is projected to earn above INR 30 crore on its opening day in India. However, much of its success will depend on last-minute spot bookings and walk-ins, particularly in B&C tier centers, where Salman enjoys massive popularity.

Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sikandar is expected to witness a surge in advance bookings over the next two days. Historical patterns suggest that the final two days of pre-sales could contribute nearly 70-80% of total bookings.

If the current pace continues, the film’s total advance sales are likely to approach the 2 lakh mark across major national chains before its first show begins.

With strong pre-release hype and Salman Khan’s massive fan base, Sikandar is poised for a high-voltage debut at the box office this Eid.
