Shoaib Malik’s Son Observes First Roza, Cricketer Expresses Pride

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik marked a special moment in his son Izhaan’s life, celebrating his first Roza Khushai (first fast) during Ramadan.

Taking to Instagram, the cricket star shared a touching photo of his six-year-old son and expressed his pride in the milestone.

“First roza Mubarak to my little one. Baba is super proud of you, champ. May Allah accept your roza and bless you always, Ezu.”

Izhaan is the only child of Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza, who finalised their divorce in January 2023. The former couple got married in 2010, and Izhaan was born in October 2018.

Following their split, Sania’s father, Imran Mirza, confirmed that his daughter sought separation through Khula. Shortly after, Shoaib Malik made headlines in January 2024 when he married Pakistani actress Sana Javed in an intimate ceremony.

The couple shared their wedding news on social media, quoting the Quranic verse:

“Alhamdulillah ❤️ ‘And We created you in pairs.’”

Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik continues to focus on his franchise cricket career worldwide. While he has not officially announced retirement from international cricket, he previously stated that he has no interest in returning to play for Pakistan.

“I am happy and satisfied after playing for so many years, and no, I am not interested in representing Pakistan anymore.”

Shoaib Malik’s latest post celebrating Izhaan’s first Roza has won hearts, with fans showering love and blessings on the young boy.
