Shakeel Siddiqui Says No to Bigg Boss

Pakistani comedian Shakeel Siddiqui has revealed that he turned down an offer to join the Indian reality show Bigg Boss despite repeated attempts by the producers to convince him. Speaking in a podcast, he said the management even met him in Dubai and promised to meet all his demands, but he still refused.

Siddiqui explained that he was uncomfortable with the idea of being the only Pakistani contestant on the show, fearing that it could lead to unnecessary conflict or added pressure. He also expressed concern that reality shows often rely on controversy and personal drama for ratings, something he did not want to be part of.

He added that although the producers assured him of complete creative freedom, he believed the format itself encourages fights and sensationalism. Siddiqui said he prefers working alongside established artists rather than influencers or unknown faces, which was another reason for rejecting the offer.
