TikToker Samiya Hijab has announced that she has forgiven her ex-fiancé Hassan Zahid, who was accused of harassment, kidnapping, and torture. Speaking to media, she said the decision was made for the sake of God and not for money, rejecting claims that financial pressure influenced her choice.

Samiya revealed that Hassan Zahid’s family approached her to apologize and that Zahid also gave a written guarantee that he would not take any action against her in the future. Following this assurance, she decided to withdraw the cases.
Earlier, Samiya had accused Hassan Zahid of attempting to kidnap, torture, and blackmail her, leading to his arrest by Islamabad Police. The court first sent him on physical remand and later ordered a 14 day judicial remand.

While Samiya stressed that she no longer has any threat from her ex-fiancé, she clarified that she is no longer engaged to him and considers herself safe. Previously, she had voiced concerns that Zahid might take revenge if released without punishment, but she has now reconciled and chosen forgiveness.
