Samiya, 23, who is widely known for her upbeat dance videos and lifestyle content, broke her silence in a heartfelt video message posted across her social media channels. In the clip, she denied any connection to the circulating video, claiming it is part of a targeted defamation campaign led by her ex-boyfriend.

“I completely deny this video and have nothing to do with it. My character is being deliberately targeted,” Samiya told her followers.

She alleged that the scandal was a calculated attempt to damage her online image. According to her, AI technology was used to fabricate the video and spread it widely for the sake of revenge.

“This content has been made viral by my ex-boyfriend due to personal enmity and revenge,” she stated.

The influencer emphasized her commitment to taking legal action against the malicious campaign. She announced plans to file a formal complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)’s Cyber Crime Wing, seeking justice and accountability for the digital attack on her reputation.

“I will take up the matter legally and will soon file a complaint with the FIA Cyber Crime Wing,” Samiya declared.

Samiya’s case adds to a growing list of Pakistani influencers targeted in similar incidents involving alleged video leaks and digital impersonation, raising serious concerns about online harassment and misuse of emerging technologies.

As calls for stronger cybercrime legislation continue, the incident has once again highlighted the urgent need to protect individuals—particularly women—in the digital age.
