The Sindh High Court has granted bail to Sahir Hassan, son of renowned actor Sajid Hassan, in a drug-related case. Sahir is also a suspect in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Mustafa Amir.
The court has approved his release against a surety bond of PKR 1 million.

Back in March, the investigation officer had filed an interim challan before the Judicial Magistrate in Karachi South. According to the document, Sahir allegedly admitted to transferring proceeds from drug sales into the bank account of his father’s manager.
The challan further noted that the manager was given an opportunity to defend himself and submit relevant bank records, but has yet to produce any such evidence.
