A fun television interview took an unexpected turn when actress Saba Qamar shared a strange story from the set of her drama Muamma.
While speaking on a talk show hosted by Tabish Hashmi, Qamar recalled an unusual incident that left the cast and crew shocked. She said the event happened during filming when her makeup artist stepped away from the set to perform ablution before offering prayers.
According to Qamar, just moments later, the makeup artist suddenly felt a strong slap on the back of his head. The strange part was that no one was standing near him at the time. She explained that he sensed something around him but could not clearly see anyone. “He saw something, just not this,” she said, pointing to her face, suggesting that the presence was felt but not visible.
The story created a mix of fear and laughter during the show. Host Tabish Hashmi responded with humor, joking that he would be even more scared if a jinn greeted him with a kiss instead of a slap.
Qamar shared that the incident made many people on set nervous. Some even discussed the idea of changing the filming location. However, since more than half of the drama had already been completed, stopping was not an easy option.
Determined to finish the project, Qamar said she refused to let fear interrupt the shoot. Referring playfully to the famous spirit character from the Bollywood film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, she said she would continue working no matter what.
Despite the spooky moment, filming carried on as planned.
