One of Walt Disney World’s most loved attractions, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Epcot, will be temporarily closed next month for updates and improvements.
According to a statement on Disney World’s website, the ride will go through a short downtime from November 10 to 13, 2025, for a refurbishment. During this period, Disney will work on enhancing the attraction’s digital visuals and 2D imagery to make the experience even clearer and more vibrant for visitors.
The announcement also mentioned that fans of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will notice new props and lighting upgrades being added to the queue and inside the attraction over the next few months. These updates are part of Disney’s ongoing efforts to keep its rides fresh, exciting, and visually stunning for guests of all ages.
The short closure comes as part of a larger transformation happening across Walt Disney World. At Magic Kingdom, both Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin are currently closed for refurbishment and are expected to reopen next year. Meanwhile, Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat permanently closed in July to make room for a brand-new Cars Land expansion. At Epcot, another major attraction Spaceship Earth is also temporarily closed for updates until October 25.
While fans may miss Remy’s ride for a few days, Disney promises that the short closure will make the experience even more magical when it reopens later in November.
