Actress Memoona Qudoos claims that the showbiz sector in Lahore is “dirtier” than in Karachi. In a recent podcast, she said that numerous inappropriate habits, like as homosexuality and late night partying, are more openly observed in Lahore. She emphasized that such things should be kept private rather than exhibited in public.

Qudoos added that similar difficulties exist in Karachi, although they are less noticeable. According to her, people in Lahore want to “show off” about money they don’t actually have, but those in Karachi are highly professional sometimes to the point of losing sight of fundamental humanity.

She also made a controversial statement about relationships in Karachi, saying that men there often make “deals” with women, offering benefits in return for becoming girlfriends.

The actress further spoke about the casting couch problem in the entertainment world. She admitted that sex in exchange for work is common, and that both women and men face harassment and exploitation. “Respect is not only for women. Men are also victims, and wrong things happen to them too,” she said.
