Speaking about the ceremony, Mahira said that her mother had always wished for her wedding to start with a Dua-e-Khair. Zehra Khala and Zehra Negha led the prayer. She smiled warmly as she remembered how blessed and full of love the moment had been before she wore her wedding gown.
She said that the traditional Hyderabadi-style jora she wore, created by the renowned Umar Sayeed Couture, was made “with a lot of love and passion.” “Umar made the jora,” Mahira said. That one is unique as well. I mean, my daughter-in-law will inherit that from me.
