Pakistani actress and model Nazish Jahangir has taken a firm stand against blackmailers, announcing that she has filed a defamation case with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and lodged a police complaint against individuals allegedly trying to defame and threaten her.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the actress revealed that a Lahore court has canceled her arrest warrants, dismissing the accusations against her.

“A group of blackmailers wants to ruin my reputation and falsely implicate me, but I won’t let them succeed,” Nazish Jahangir declared. She further disclosed that she has pursued legal action against those threatening her life.

In addition, she shared a video clip featuring an unidentified person making threats against her. While the individual’s face remains hidden, the audio clip provides insight into the nature of the intimidation.

On March 22, Jahangir appeared before a Lahore court, where her arrest warrant was canceled, and she was granted bail on a PKR. 50,000 surety bond.

Earlier, on March 21, Magistrate Ghulam Shabbir Sial had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against her in a fraud case, instructing her to appear before the court the following day.

The allegations stem from aspiring actor Aswad Haroon, who claims that Jahangir defrauded him and failed to return his money and car. Previously, in September 2024, the Lahore Sessions Court had also canceled her bail in the same case.

Addressing these accusations in an interview with Nida Yasir in early March, Jahangir dismissed them as a planned propaganda effort meant to blackmail her.

Now, with official legal proceedings underway, Nazish Jahangir is determined to clear her name and hold the alleged blackmailers accountable.
