Actor and producer Humayun Saeed has remained unfazed by negative reviews of his drama Main Manto Nahi Hoon. In a recent interview, he laughed off criticism and urged fans not to target reviewers with hate.
Saeed acknowledged that reviewers are doing their job and often have industry experience, saying, “Just like we do our dramas, let them do theirs.”
He reminded fans to respect critics’ opinions and praised his co-stars Sajal Aly, Sanam Saeed, and Saima Noor for their performances.

The drama, directed by Nadeem Baig and aired on ARY Digital, has faced criticism for slow pacing and hints of a controversial romance between the characters Mehmal (Sajal Aly) and Manto (Humayun Saeed).
Some viewers expressed concern on social media about the portrayal of student-teacher dynamics, arguing that it could normalize inappropriate relationships.
Humayun, who is both producing and starring in the show, said he enjoys playing Manto’s complex, morally ambiguous role. He teased that upcoming episodes will be more “eventful” with engaging dialogues for fans to look forward to.
