A woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad has lodged a complaint against her husband, accusing him of forcing her to copy the looks of Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi.

Media outlets reported that the woman, Shanvi, said her husband, Shivam Ajuwal, who works as a physical education teacher in a government school, became increasingly fixated on the actress after their marriage in March this year.

She alleged that he made her attend the gym for three hours daily and at times restricted her meals, claiming she needed to maintain a certain figure. She also reported constant taunts from her in-laws over her physical appearance.

According to her statement, the husband told her he could have chosen a partner who resembled the actress, remarks that left her distressed.

Shanvi has requested police protection and legal action against her husband. Local authorities confirmed receiving the complaint and said the matter is being investigated.
