Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan suffered a back injury while filming his highly anticipated movie “King” in Mumbai, according to Indian media reports. Following the incident, the actor was flown to the United States for further medical treatment.
Although the injury is not considered serious, doctors have advised the 58-year-old superstar to take one month of rest before resuming his work schedule.
The incident occurred on the set of King, a film that has been in production since last year. Initially slated to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the project later saw a major change when Pathaan director Siddharth Anand took over the helm. The film is expected to release next year.
