The application, filed through lawyer Usman Mushtaq, argues that the case against him was registered only to harass him. He stated that he has no link to the allegations of promoting gambling applications, and the FIR does not mention any app that was banned in Pakistan at the time.
According to the petition, no evidence was found during the investigation to prove that he acted as a country head or engaged in online fraud. He further argued that Sections 13 and 14 of the PECA Act do not apply to his case and that Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which was also invoked, is a bailable offence.
The YouTuber maintained that the case was an attempt to harm his reputation and requested the court to approve his bail.

The court will now review the reply from NCCIA before making a decision on the bail request. Legal experts believe the outcome of this case could set an important precedent for how cybercrime allegations against social media influencers are handled in Pakistan.
