Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has set a new benchmark in Indian cinema by becoming the highest-paid actor with a staggering £16.5 million deal for his next film.

As per details, the award-winning star, who gained nationwide fame with Pushpa: The Rise, has now secured one of the biggest paychecks in the industry. The film, tentatively titled A6, will be directed by Atlee, one of India’s most celebrated filmmakers known for his high-octane blockbusters.

In addition to his massive salary, Arjun will also receive 15% of the film’s profits, making this deal one of the most lucrative in Indian cinema history. The project is backed by Sun Pictures, a production house known for delivering large-scale entertainers, and promises to be a grand cinematic spectacle with high-end VFX, breathtaking visuals, and intense action sequences.

Reports indicate that Atlee has crafted an engaging script packed with drama and thrilling moments, ensuring a larger-than-life experience for audiences. Industry insiders revealed that Allu Arjun has allocated a significant portion of his schedule for the film, with shooting planned between August and October 2025.

The pre-production phase is already underway, and an official announcement is expected in the coming months. This milestone further cements Allu Arjun’s dominance in the Indian film industry.

Meanwhile, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone recently stirred a debate over South Asian representation in global cinema, calling out the Oscars for overlooking India’s cinematic brilliance. “India has been robbed,” she declared, expressing frustration over deserving Indian films missing out on international recognition.
