Although the drama broke viewership records on television and YouTube and made stars out of Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, it also received criticism for its weird plot points and dragging storylines.

Ali Safina spoke about the need to improve the overall standard of work in the industry, stating that dramas like Tere Bin are created due to bad standards, leading to complaints from viewers. While Yumna and Wahaj are great actors, bad scripts and working conditions in the industry can lead to subpar productions.
