Following the shocking knife attack on Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan in January, new revelations have surfaced that his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, also faced a frightening incident on the same day.

Bollywood actor and private security agency head Ronit Roy, in a recent interview, disclosed that Kareena Kapoor was momentarily attacked or jostled while returning home from the hospital, leaving her deeply shaken.

“When Saif was discharged from the hospital, there was a huge crowd of fans and media. Kareena was in a separate car and her vehicle was slightly struck during the chaos,” Ronit explained. “The media and crowd came too close, and the minor jolt to her car startled her. She immediately asked to be taken home.”

Roy added that upon reaching home, they were greeted by a heavy police presence and security personnel already stationed outside.

This revelation follows the January 16, 2025, assassination attempt on Saif Ali Khan at around 3 a.m. at his Bandra residence, where an intruder tried to rob the house and attacked the actor with a knife during the struggle.

Saif sustained six stab wounds, two of which were serious — including one dangerously close to his spine. He was rushed to the hospital in a rickshaw and underwent emergency surgery to remove a 2.5-inch knife fragment from near his spinal cord.

The incident caused an uproar across India, with fans and celebrities expressing concern. Authorities later launched a detailed investigation and increased security measures around the actor and his family.
