The Department of Mass Communication at the University of Karachi held an engaging and informative guest session, hosted by Raheel Nabi, the Chief Executive of Xenith PR, one of the country’s leading Rublic Relations firms. The session, titled “The Future of PR,” was organized by the Advertising and Public Relations Class of 2024, under the supervision of faculty member Ms. Samina Qureshi.

Raheel Nabi, known for his expertise in strategic communication and public relations, provided an in-depth lens into the evolving landscape of public relations, highlighting the importance of adaptability in the digital age. His presentation covered key trends shaping the industry, such as the rise of digital platforms, influencer marketing, data-driven strategies, and the growing importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and crisis management in maintaining brand reputation.

“The future of PR is all about integrating new technology with traditional storytelling,” said Raheel. “PR professionals must be intuitive and creative to navigate the dynamic fast pacing environment we are moving into.”

The session also featured an interactive Q&A, where students of mass communication had the opportunity to ask questions, seek advice, and engage in discussions about career opportunities, internships, and the skills necessary to succeed in the PR industry.

The session concluded with a note of thanks from the organizing students and Course In-charge Ms, Samina Qureshi, expressing their gratitude to Raheel for his valuable time and expertise.
