The Government of Balochistan’s School Education Department has officially announced the schedule for summer vacations for all public and private schools located in the province’s summer zone.

According to an official notification issued on Wednesday, all schools within the designated summer zone will observe holidays from May 17 to July 31, 2025.

The directive applies to both government-run and private educational institutions operating in high-temperature regions of the province.

The notification further instructs the Director of Education (Schools) and the Managing Director of the Balochistan Education Foundation (BEF) to ensure strict implementation of the summer vacation schedule “in letter and spirit.”

To ensure full compliance, copies of the notification have been circulated among key provincial authorities, including the Principal Secretary to the Governor and Chief Minister, as well as divisional and district education officers across Balochistan.

This decision follows rising temperatures in various parts of the province, with students and parents welcoming the move as a necessary relief for schoolchildren.
