The department clarified that all schools, colleges, and universities will resume academic activities as per schedule. It dismissed a notification about extended holidays that had gone viral on social media, calling it fake and misleading.
Officials stressed that no new notification had been issued regarding holidays and assured that the academic calendar remains unchanged. The department warned that action would be taken against those responsible for spreading false information and rumors online.
Parents and students were also urged to rely only on official announcements shared by the department through recognized channels, rather than unverified social media posts.
