Shanzay Faryal Challenges Political Inheritance at FCCU

Shanzay Faryal boldly questioned political inheritance at FCCU, criticizing leadership continuity and urging politicians to address real youth concerns.

In HUM DEKHEN GY with Mansoor Ali Khan, the show happened at FC College University. In that show, Mansoor Ali Khan did a QA session with students of political science and mass communication departments in front of PMLN representative Kosar Kazmi and PTI representative and chief organiser of PTI Punjab Aliya Hamza.

Mansoor Ali Khan started the session by informing the PTI and PMLN representatives that these students of FCCU are very sharp-minded and can question anything. They can discuss Maryam Nawaz’s performance, Shahbaz Sharif’s performance, Form 47, or anything.
These students think this system is not providing anything to them. They are getting disappointed. Many students questioned both representatives, but one student, whose name is more prominent among them because of her bold stance and bravery, Shanzay Faryal, dared to break the mould.

In a world where conformity often reigns supreme, Shanzay Faryal, while addressing PMLN representative Kosar Kazmi, said that as Kosar Kazmi said, the reason for disappointment in the young generation is promises of Imran Khan. She said his promises are not the reason for disappointment; the actual reason is inherited politics, which is expediency done upon us, In the form of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

We are seeing this thing that from always there was Nawaz Sharif, then Shahbaz Sharif, then Hamza Shahbaz, then they have imposed Maryam Nawaz upon us through Form 47.

Then they are showing banners of Maryam Nawaz everywhere on roads and in newspapers. Seeing all this weighs heavily on our hearts, causing sadness and frustration.

By seeing graceful and dignified women like Aliya Hamza, who are proud of our nation when these women get tortured in prisons, and still, they work from the root level, and still, they face difficulties, then we get disappointed.

Those who got this country’s politics inherited, their rule over us and their banners are everywhere, then we get disappointed. The argument that those who engage in corruption also contribute to the country’s development is no longer valid.
The current generation, being intelligent and educated, understands that corruption is intolerable. In between this, when Mansoor Ali Khan asked Shanzay Faryal what she did when she saw Maryam Nawaz’s advertisements, then she replied, we don’t see them; we switch the channel.

Shanzay Faryal also advised Kosar Kazmi to try new tricks, these old tricks of making roads, building flyovers, or advertising Maryam Nawaz’s projects, which are not even hers completely; most of them were started in ex-chief minister Usman Buzdar’s tenure. Look at our conditions instead of doing advertisements.

I believe Shanzay Faryal is one of those Pakistanis who are tired of Pakistan’s condition, which is because of these politicians who got this country in inheritance. She wants to say we are conscious enough that we will not bear these things anymore.

Actually, this was a comment of one girl, but the way all the students in her surrounding clapped and appreciated Shanzay Faryal shows that this is not a stance of one girl; all of them feel the same way. She said the exact same thing that every educated or conscious person thinks: that these advertisements spending millions or billions on banners and advertisements will have a negative impact on their politics.

The people around Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are misguiding her that just doing advertisements and everything will be fine; these advertisements in newspapers are of no use to them. Maryam Nawaz can see how these youngsters are reacting to this. She should see that whole program.
The second thing is the way Maryam Nawaz visited universities, hugged the students, and cried in front of them. No one will say anything bad to her in front of her. She should go and start talking with these students without her protocol and security.

Aliya Hamza and Kosar Kazmi were brave enough that they came and sat in front of these students, like one student asked Aliya Hamza that when Nawaz Sharif got punished in a corruption case, you used to say he is corrupt, he is a thief and liar. Today Imran Khan is also in jail. Would you say that we should call him a thief and corrupt in the same way? These are very tough questions.

Maryam Nawaz should listen to these students. If Maryam Nawaz truly wants to do anything, I advise her to approach these youngsters alone and ask them questions. You cannot resolve anything until you are aware of the ground reality.
