Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone recently shared her current binge-watching choice, revealing that she is engrossed in the popular Netflix reality web show, ‘Indian Matchmaking.’ In an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram, a video captured Deepika promptly responding with ‘Indian Matchmaking’ when asked about her current viewing habits.
The video has since gone viral, generating curiosity and interest among fans. However, Deepika quickly wrapped up her response and moved on to the next question in the session, as seen in the footage.
‘Indian Matchmaking,’ which spans three seasons, is a Netflix series that presents the work of matchmaker Sima Taparia as she navigates clients through the process of arranged marriages. The show offers an inside look at this traditional practice in the context of modern society, claiming to be based on real-life scenarios.
The cast of the show includes Viral Joshi, Aparna Shewakramani, Pradhyuman Maloo, Vyasar M. Ganesan, Akshay Jakhete, Nadia Jagessar, Ankita Bansal, Arti Lalwani, Rashi Gupta, and others who participate in the matchmaking journey.

Notably, renowned director Rohit Shetty announced a collaboration with Deepika Padukone for an upcoming film titled ‘Lady Singham.’ During an event, Shetty revealed, “Kahi na kahi to pata chal hi jaega (They will get to know somehow), so I will tell now only. The next film that we are making is Singham Again from our cop universe.” He pointed towards Deepika and added, “She is my lady cop from the cop universe. We are working on it next year.”
