Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are reuniting on screen for the upcoming action film King, marking their fifth film together. The duo, who first appeared in Om Shanti Om in 2007, has delivered several hits over the years, including Chennai Express, Happy New Year, and Pathaan.
According to Indian media reports, the new film will also feature Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan in a major role, making it her big-screen debut alongside her father. The cast includes several other well-known names such as Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma.
Sources close to the production revealed that Padukone was always part of the plan, but scheduling conflicts initially kept her from confirming. She had taken a break after becoming a mother and was focusing on her health. However, delays in the film’s timeline created space for her to join the project.

Currently in the pre-production phase, King is expected to be a big-budget action thriller. The film is scheduled to release in the last quarter of 2026.
The reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has already generated buzz among fans, while Suhana Khan’s big-screen debut adds further excitement to the project. With a strong ensemble cast and a popular director at the helm, King is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most anticipated releases in the coming years.
