Following the successful acquisition of a restricted license from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Mashreq has officially commenced its pilot operations, marking a key milestone in its expansion into Pakistan’s digital banking landscape. At a ceremony held at the State Bank of Pakistan, Mashreq Pakistan’s leadership team, led by Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Hamayun Sajjad, met with SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad and senior officials to discuss the future of digital banking in Pakistan.

The meeting underscores Mashreq’s commitment to fostering financial inclusion, driving digital innovation, and delivering best-in-class digital banking solutions tailored to Pakistan’s evolving economic landscape.
