Gold prices in Pakistan climbed sharply on Tuesday, with the per tola rate of 24-karat gold reaching Rs406,778 after recording an increase of Rs3,178.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,725, settling at Rs348,746, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold advanced to Rs319,695.
International bullion markets also supported the upward momentum, where global gold prices gained $37 to settle at $3,855 per ounce.

In contrast, silver rates posted a slight decline, with the per tola rate falling by Rs16 to Rs4,776 and 10 grams easing to Rs4,094.
Global silver prices mirrored this trend, slipping by $0.16 to trade at $46.77 per ounce, reflecting weaker investor demand compared with gold.
The latest domestic gold and silver rates were calculated using the interbank exchange rate of Rs281.35 per dollar, with gold purity set at 999.
