Senior politician Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri passed away early this morning after suffering from a heart condition, his family confirmed. He was admitted to a private hospital in Lahore’s Defence area three days ago when his health worsened. According to family members, he breathed his last at 4am.
His funeral prayers will be offered today after Maghrib prayers at Lawrence Road in Lahore. Family members, close friends, political leaders, and supporters are expected to attend the funeral and pay their final respects.
Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri was a senior leader of the Awam Pakistan Party and was serving as the party’s spokesperson for Punjab at the time of his death. He was known for his strong communication skills and active role in political discussions.
Earlier in his career, he was associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N). He served as a Member of the Punjab Assembly and also worked as the government spokesperson during his tenure. In these roles, he represented his party on important political matters and appeared regularly in the media.
Over the years, he remained a well-known and vocal figure in Punjab’s political scene. Many political leaders have expressed sorrow over his passing and praised his services.
