The decision, which applies to both public and private institutions, was taken as a precautionary measure amid rising regional tensions and ongoing national security concerns.

As a result, there will be no classes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in all schools across Punjab. The directive also applies uniformly to colleges and universities, which will remain closed until Sunday night.

The government has urged the public to remain calm and vigilant, emphasizing that the decision was made in the best interest of student safety and institutional security. Authorities are expected to issue further updates if there are any changes in the situation.
