According to the representative, the account was hacked Thursday night.

“At the moment, any post made on X has no connection with the ministry,” the spokeswoman explained.

On May 7, users in Pakistan gained access to the social media platform X, which had been prohibited in the country since February 2024.

Previously, users accessed the platform over Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
