In a major escalation along the Line of Control (LoC), the Indian Army reportedly hoisted a white flag at the Chora Complex, a forward military zone, signaling surrender following significant losses inflicted by the Pakistan Army.

This rare and symbolic move came after the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) reportedly shot down five Indian fighter jets over the past 48 hours in response to what Islamabad described as an “unprovoked” and “cowardly” attack by Indian forces on civilian and military targets across the border.

Heavy Damage to Indian Positions

Security sources indicate that Pakistani forces launched a comprehensive retaliatory strike, causing extensive destruction to multiple Indian military posts. Among the hardest hit was the Chora Complex, where Indian troops ultimately raised the internationally recognized symbol of ceasefire — the white flag.

More Jets Downed Than Admitted

While Indian authorities have officially acknowledged the loss of three fighter aircraft, PAF officials maintain that five Indian jets were destroyed, including three Rafale jets, one MiG-29, and one SU-30. A Heron surveillance drone was also shot down during the air engagements.

“Our forces are delivering a decisive and proportional response to every act of Indian provocation,” a senior Pakistani security official stated.

Indian Brigade HQ Destroyed

In an even more significant blow, Pakistan claims to have destroyed the headquarters of India’s 12th Infantry Brigade, a key forward-operating unit under the Indian Army’s 9th Division of the 15th Corps. This brigade was reportedly engaged in operational activities near the LoC at the time of the strike.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, speaking to an international news outlet, confirmed the military successes and reiterated Pakistan’s stance on self-defence.

“Pakistan has acted purely in self-defence. Our armed forces will continue to repay the debt of Indian aggression with full force,” Asif said.

As tensions mount, both nations remain on high alert, with global observers closely monitoring the volatile developments.
