Sheikh Faisal Nouman, a respected and long-serving muazzin of Masjid an-Nabawi, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of faith and devotion. His passing has deeply saddened Muslims around the world who were touched by his beautiful call to prayer.
The funeral prayer was offered after Fajr on Tuesday at Masjid an-Nabawi. The date was 3 Rajab 1447, corresponding to December 23. After the prayer, Sheikh Faisal Nouman was laid to rest in Jannat al-Baqi, also known as Baqi al-Gharqad. This historic cemetery is the final resting place of many close family members and companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The news of his death was confirmed by “Inside the Haramain,” a well-known Saudi Arabia based platform that shares updates related to the Two Holy Mosques. The announcement was made through social media and quickly spread among worshippers worldwide.
Sheikh Faisal Nouman served Masjid an-Nabawi for many years as a muazzin. His adhan was known for its soft, melodious tone and deep sincerity.
