Social media influencer Alina Amir has become the latest victim of AI-generated deepfake content, with false claims about an explicit video spreading across social media platforms. The Markhor Times has verified that no authentic video exists, and all circulating content is fabricated using artificial intelligence technology.
Alina Amir, a Pakistani social media personality with over 2.5 million Instagram followers, was targeted by malicious actors who created and distributed AI-generated fake content in late January 2026. The influencer responded swiftly through her social media accounts, categorically denying the existence of any authentic material. She has appealed to authorities including Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for legal action against those creating and distributing the fabricated content.
