Pakistan Cricket Board has warned it may pull out of the Asia Cup after a dispute with India during their recent match. The issue started when match referee Andy Pycroft told both captains not to shake hands at the toss, breaking a long tradition. PCB has filed a complaint with the ICC and MCC asking for Pycroft’s removal.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the referee’s actions went against the spirit of cricket and accused him of following orders from the Indian board and government. The board also stated Pakistan will not play its next game against UAE if Pycroft continues as referee.

The incident has increased tension between the two teams. After the match, Indian players skipped the handshake and went straight to the dressing room while Pakistan’s team was left waiting. There are now growing fears that Pakistan may quit the tournament completely, which could place the Asia Cup in serious doubt.

Cricket fans and experts are worried that the situation could damage not only the Asia Cup but also future cricket ties between Pakistan and India. Many believe both sides need to resolve the matter quickly to save the tournament and avoid further harm to the sport’s image.
