The Federal Public Service Commission has announced the results of the CSS Examination 2024, showing a very low success rate of only 2.48 percent. Out of 15,602 candidates who appeared, just 229 managed to pass, including 119 men and 110 women.

A total of 397 candidates had cleared the written part of the exam, but only 229 were declared successful after the final interviews. Their appointments will depend on medical fitness results.
Among the successful candidates, 269 were from Punjab, 33 from Sindh Rural, 19 from Sindh Urban, 31 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 22 from Balochistan, and two from Gilgit Baltistan. No candidate from Azad Jammu and Kashmir made it to the final list.

The top three positions were secured by Muhammad Shafay Ijaz, Sana Rasool, and Momina Azhar. Nineteen of the top twenty qualifiers chose the Pakistan Administrative Service, while one selected the Police Service of Pakistan. None of the top 30 candidates opted for the Foreign Service this year.
