Outrage in Turkey After Principal Pushes 13-Year-Old Student Down Stairs

A heartbreaking incident in Turkey has shocked the nation after a school principal was caught on camera brutally pushing a 13-year-old student down a flight of stairs. The disturbing footage quickly went viral, sparking widespread anger and calls for justice.

The incident took place at a public middle school in the Turgutlu district of Manisa. Victim was an autistic child. CCTV footage clearly showed the principal forcefully pushing the student, causing him to fall and sustain injuries.

When the boy’s mother arrived at the school, she was devastated to see her son’s clothes covered in mud and his condition visibly poor. The family demanded strict action against the principal, as the video spread across social media, drawing nationwide outrage.

The Turkish government responded swiftly. The principal was arrested and immediately removed from his post. Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ issued a strong statement, saying, “Abuse of any vulnerable individual is intolerable and cannot be forgiven under any circumstances.”

This shocking act has reignited conversations about child protection and discipline in schools. Officials have emphasized that schools must always be safe and nurturing environments where no child feels fear or humiliation.
The incident has become a painful reminder of the importance of compassion, awareness, and strict accountability in educational institutions. Turkish authorities have promised that justice will be served and such cruelty will never be tolerated again.
